I grew up an Army brat so I was lucky enough (not!) to get to go to ten different schools in six different states -- my fourth high school was here in Georgia. I've seen first-hand the surprisingly big differences between how the states provide education to their residents. As a mother, I'm working hard to provide my daughter the best education I can and not go broke doing it. I'd really like to see people open their minds and honestly look at all sides of issues like this. There are no bad guys here. We're all pretty awesome.
