What Are the New Postage Rates at U.S. Post Office?

Stamps and Priority Mail services went up in price Sunday. Here's a handy list of the new rates from the U.S. Postal Service.

If you're planning on using the U.S. Post Office in Holly Springs to mail an envelope or package this week you'll find the postage costs have jumped slightly. On Sunday (Jan. 27) the United States Postal Service upped its rates to help cover the costs of delivering the mail. Forever Stamps, the ones that remain good despite future postal rate increases, will increase to 46 cents. Here's a rundown of price increases: The USPS will also introduce a new First-Class Mail Global Forever Stamp. The stamp allows people to mail letters anywhere in the world for $1.10. Price of Stamps Going Up at End of Month

The debut of the U.S. Postal Service's 46-cent Forever stamps brings rate changes on Jan. 27.

  It's soon going to cost you an extra penny to mail a letter. The U.S. Post Office announced recently that the effective Jan. 27, stamp prices will increase one cent to make way for the new 46-cent Forever stamp. The price to mail a one-ounce letter will increase from 45 cents to 46 cents, but the cost for letters weighing more than one ounce will stay the same, at 20 cents for each additional ounce. The announcement states letters under one ounce mailed anywhere internationally will cost $1.10 and postcard stamps will also see a one-cent increase, from 32 cents to 33 cents.
