Pie; it's an American holiday tradition and everyone has their personal favorites. But when local families don't have the time or energy to bake their own, Cherokee County has several go-to places for the delicious dessert. We asked on our Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch Facebook page for fans to name their favorite places in or around town for the perfect pie. One person said Best Dang Bakery Around at 9539 Highway 92 in Woodstock had the best pies. Another mentioned Williamson Bros Bar-B-Q, which has a location in Canton. Another fan pointed to Frosty Frog Creamery & Cafe in Hickory Flat as having awesome pies. Share your opinions on these two places for a great pie and recommend others by writing a review of your favorite in our …

Divisive is you, Bill Bryan, bringing the five together outside of normal and legal council meetings! Who elected you Mayor? No one. You keep stating that we elected you to watch our tax dollars. That is not the reason we elected you, and your radical, tea party view of "taxes" is not representative of your typical constituent. We elected you to represent OUR interests, not YOUR negative and …   more ›
