Holly Springs residents could soon have their own community garden. The city is moving forward on plans to establish a garden, which would be located on a site owned by the city and sits adjacent to Cherokee FOCUS at 100 Hickory Circle. City Manager Rob Logan said city crew are preparing the site so they can start building the raised planting beds later this spring. Logan said the proposed layout is 90' x 110' for the garden. "However, we have a little flexibility with the site, so it might be a little larger," he added. Councilman Michael Zenchuk has been the force behind the community garden proposal.
