Know a young leader who deserves a scholarship? Then mark your calendars – Kohl’s Department Stores will accept nominations for outstanding young volunteers when the annual Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program kicks off next week. Kohl's has locations in Cherokee County at 2034 Cumming Highway, Canton and 120 Woodstock Square Ave., Woodstock. Nominations for children ages 6 to 18 will be accepted Feb. 1 through March 15 at kohlskids.com. Nominators must be 21 or older. Kohl’s will award more than 2,300 young volunteers more than $425,000 in scholarships and prizes.
