Holly Springs Woman Busted in Cherokee Prescription Drug Forgery Ring

A Holly Springs woman was among 13 people arrested in the alleged ring agents had been investigating for five months.

Thirteen Cherokee County residents, including one from Holly Springs and a Canton nurse practitioner, have been arrested and charged in connection to an alleged prescription drug forgery ring that's been under investigation for five months. The Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, or C-MANS, announced the arrests on Friday afternoon, which were made possible after an investigation that spanned across north Georgia and resulted in charging the suspects with a total of 74 felonies. Arrested were:  Shoemaker also being investigated by the Georgia Secretary of State's office and has had her nursing license revoked, C-MANS said on Friday. Woman Wanted By Woodstock Police For Forgery

This woman allegedly tried to pass a washed $5 bill with the appearance of a $100 bill at a cosmetic store in Woodstock.

The Woodstock Police Department needs the public to help them identify a woman who is wanted for forgery in the first degree. According to the Woodstock Police Department, the woman on Saturday Dec. 22 allegedly tried to pass a washed $5 bill with the appearance of a $100 bill at Ulta Cosmetics Investigators with the department's Criminal Investigations Unit asks anyone with information on who the woman is in the photo to call the department at (770) 592-6030.
