Update, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday: Hiram's City Council approved the contract to make Robbie Rokovitz their new city manager. Earlier story: A former city official for Holly Springs and Alpharetta might be the next Hiram city mananger. Hiram could soon end the months-long process of obtaining a city manager if City Council approves a contract tonight. The city council is holding a 5:30 p.m. called meeting with an agenda that includes a vote on a contract to hire Robbie Rokovitz as city manager. Rokovitz, who is currently Cedartown’s city manager, was tapped for the job last month pending a successful execution of a contract between him and the city; he had been one of six candidates named as a finalist for the job.
