Sequoyah High School was ranked by Newsweek magazine as one of the best public schools in the country in 2010. The school has more than 1,600 high school students in 9th through 12th grades. It is home to the Chiefs and is located beside Dean Rusk Middle School, which feeds into the high school. Between the two schools is the athletic fields for Sequoyah.
