I stopped by Big Woods Goods today to purchase 2 boxes of target ammo for my trip my hunting camp this weekend. When I asked the salesman if they had any he said yes. I asked for 2 boxes and he asked if I was going to use their range. I said no and he told me then I couldn't buy them. I asked to speak to the owner and he told me the same thing. I suggested that that was not good business and he didn't care. I take this to mean that unless you are willing to spend more money on a service that you do not want, then you can not buy ammo from them.It also did not bother him that I could, and did, go next door to HiCaliber. Everytime I have been into Big Woods Goods the experience has been extremely dissapointing. I will never reutrn to Big Woods Goods. I also want to mention that they have raised their prices 50% or more on ammo. They say it's due to rising costs, yet HiCaliber sells the same ammo and prices have not gone up for any reason. Boycott Bigwoods Goods. If you want good customer service, fair prices and the ability to purchase an instock item then go to HiCaliber or Cherokee Gun & Pawn.
