All afternoon and evening extracurricular activities and Polaris Evening School classes are cancelled.

Classes in the Cherokee County School District will end two hours early as some form of wintry mix could make its way into the county sometime Tuesday.

The district announced Tuesday morning Superintendent Dr. Frank Petruzielo has authorized the dismissal. Elementary school students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m., with all schools dismissing by 1:45 p.m.

The district has also cancelled all afternoon and evening extracurricular activities and classes at Polaris Evening School have also been cancelled.
