Students Meet Renowned Author
Avery Elementary students got to meet one of their favorite authors.
Carmen Deedy, an author, storyteller and NPR commentator, recently visited to visit with students.
Her works include, The Cheshire Cheese Cat: A Dickens of a Tale, 14 Cows for America, and Martina the Beautiful Cockroach.
