State Rep Reads to Free Home

Rep. Calvin Hill (R-Canton) responded letters from Free Home Elementary students in a very special way.

How often do you get a personal response from a legislator? Not often. However, second graders at got their wish on March 2 when State Rep. Calvin Hill (R-Canton) responded to their invitation by visiting and reading to their class.

In November, students in Lacy Savage's second grade class wrote Hill about their donation to the Wreath of America Organization. Then the second graders wrote additional letters inviting Hill to come read with them on on March 2, which he did.Β
