Macedonia Elementary Students Honor Firefighters

The school's CARE club delivered posters, cards and baskets of homemade treats.

Macedonia Elementary School students thanked community firefighters by presenting them with cards and posters of appreciation along with baskets of homemade treats for them to share, according to a recent news release from the Cherokee County School District.

Members of the Macedonia CARE Club made the presentation in observance of Firefighter Appreciation Week 2012, following the example of last year's club members.

Club members include: Daniel Adamcik, Lawson Bailey, Matthew Bowker, Savannah Burke, Jake Cantrell, J.D. Driver, Nicholas Dunson, Amanda Guerra, Madilyn Hansen, Davis Hepburn, Jenna Holder, Zach Hudson, Connolly Huth, Emily Jeffreys, Margaret Klements, Carly Knauff, Gabrielle Long, Alyssa Martin, Alex McGroggan-Dugdale, Lizzie Michaud, Maxwell Moore, Teegan Morris, Kylie Peace, Brooke Purves, Riley Rich, Peyton Rogers, Gracye Rubelsky, Lily Schubert, Kaytlyn Showalter, Dylan Stevens, Tamara Thrackray, Aysel Tremblay, Morgan Ward, Ava Wegner, Elizabeth Williams and Olivia Winslette.
