Letter to the Editor: An Open Letter to Ms. Kelly Marlow

Dear Ms. Marlow,

The numbers don’t lie: 

• 40: the number of still unnamed “political advisers” on your staff. I know of no school board member in any municipality that has retained this large of a staff.
• 1800 (and counting): the number of members of our community that have joined together in opposition of your slander, lies, and deceit.
• 1977: the year “We Are The Champions” was a hit song, the same song you obnoxiously blared out of your vehicle’s windows driving through BridgeMill on election night.
• 2,971: the number of Cherokee County citizens that voted for you. Where are they now?
• 11,200: the number of dollars you paid to get out of jail following your arrest on felony charges.
• 38,293:  the number of students in Cherokee County that stand to lose their opportunity to attend accredited secondary education due to your actions.
• 1: The number of doors at the School Board Auditorium that I ask you walk out of, and never walk back through again. Your number is up.
