Gingerbread Houses Haunt Creekland Middle School

The sixth-grade class documented their steps, creating personal recipes.

Creekland Middle School sixth-graders in Jennifer Smith's class made "Haunted Gingerbread Houses" on Monday, Oct. 29, as part of their Expository Writing Unit.

The students not only made their own unique houses, but they also documented their steps and ingredients to create their own personal recipes.

“With the help of 18 parent volunteers, the activity was not only enjoyable, but educational as well,” Principal Dr. Deborah D. Wiseman said.
