Creekland Collects Food for HopeQuest

For Red Ribbon Week, Creekland raised donations for an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program.

The  Student Council 768 cans of soup, 190 boxes of cereal, 115 cans of fruit, 984 cans of vegetables, 232 cleaning supplies items and 98 miscellaneous items such as cans of tuna and packages of pasta for HopeQuest, an assistance program for those dealing with drug and alcohol addiction. 

The food drive was part of Red Ribbon Week, an effort to raise awareness of drug addiction.

The winners are:

  • Sixth Grade, Sharon Aiken’s homeroom (315 items)
  • Seventh Grade, Melissa Venezia’s homeroom (356 items)
  • Eighth Grade, Alissa McDonough’s homeroom (125 items)
