Band Livens Up Holiday Season

The Sequoyah High School "Band of Chiefs" brought classical tunes to a local venue.

Hundreds gathered last night in the l theater to attend the school's Instrumental Music Department Christmas Concert.

The symphonic sounds filled the theater with the spirit of Christmas playing classics like Christmas Bells, "Deck Them Halls," Twelve Days of Christmas and more.

Band President Gerald Gardner says the performance was excellent and that it brings back lots of memories like "listening to the Grinch and Rudolph and thinking about the cartoons sitting in front of the TV."
