A tornado warning has been extended for Cherokee County until 5:45 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, a tornado watch has been issued for Cherokee County until 8 p.m.
A wind advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. with winds from 20 to 25 mph and gusts up to 30 mph.
