Senator Calls Residents for Charter Support

Chip Rogers called around Cherokee County this week to rally support for Cherokee Charter Academy.

State Sen. Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock) called Cherokee County residents Wednesday to rally support for the Cherokee Charter Academy vote tonight. Here is a transcript of the recorded call:Β 

"Hi, this is Senator Chip Rogers. Friday evening, the Cherokee school board will consider approving the Cherokee Charter Academy. This is a great opportunity for more learn opportunities for our students. Our kids deserve as many educational opportunities as possible. And this one adds to the outstanding schools we already have. The meeting is at 6 p.m. at Cherokee High School. Please stand up for our students and stand up for this great educational opportunity."
