Road Work Continues on Cherokee Highways

The work began this morning and will continue until Friday.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will continue its work to repair asphalt on two Cherokee County highways this week.

Crews will be using the deep patching repair technique on Highway 372 and Highway 20 between Wednesday and Friday, from 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m..

Deep patching is a more cost effective and efficient repair technique, as it focuses on a rolling repair of small asphalt deficiencies before they turn into much larger and more expensive problems.
