I-575 Guard Rail Repairs Scheduled for Thursday
The repair on both sides of the interstate will take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Commuters that use Interstate 575 Thursday may have to deal with traffic delays from repairs being made by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).
From 10 a.m. 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, the leftmost lane of I-575 northbound will be closed between mile markers 21-23. On the other side of the highway, the leftmost lane of I-575 southbound will be closed during the same time from mile markers 23-21.
The closures will allow GDOT's contractor to repair the damaged guard rails in the area. The repairs and lane closures are dependent on weather conditions and are subject to change.
