Holly Springs Wants You to Name New Park

Following up on the successful public input meetings last year regarding the new park on Hickory Road, the City of Holly Springs wants you to name the new park.

The City of Holly Springs and the Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency is asking for your help to name the new park that will be located on Hickory Road.

Public input was integral to the park's formation; in October and November, 2012, the two governmental bodies hosted open forums to solicit input from citizens on what kinds of amentities should be added to the new facility.

Due in part to the public input, the new park was designed as a passive park area that will include walking trails, pavillions, picnic tables, and some open space. The lion's share of the park will remain natural and undisturbed. Please see the attached .pdf for a conceptual drawing of the new park.
