Holly Springs Begins Fixing Streets Next Week

Colwell Construction will resurface 10 city streets.

Sales taxes will help fund resurfacing projects on 10 Holly Springs streets in a road construction project scheduled to begin next week, Oct. 22

Holly Springs is using Local Maintenance & Improvement grant funds, and Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) funds to complete the projects, according to a release from the city by Jenninfer Stanley.

Colwell Construction will handle the resurfacing, deep patching and leveling project on the following 10 streets:

  1. Ash Street,
  2. Brookhaven Lane,
  3. Brookhaven Place,
  4. Brookhaven Way,
  5. Creek Bottom Court,
  6. Crescent Circle,
  7. Holly Place,
  8. Horizon Drive,
  9. Palm Springs Court, and
  10. West Slope Way.

Colwell Construction and the Georgia Department of Transportation expect the paving projects to take approximately three weeks.
