Council to Finalize Sunday Alcohol Sale Date
Tonight's meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Holly Springs City Hall.
If approved,residents could start buying alcohol on Jan. 1, the first Sunday after tonight's meeting that doesn't fall on Christmas day.
At the the council said there was a longstanding ordinance barring sales on Christmas day.
Other agenda items include the appointment of board members for the planning and zoning committee and the purchase of 2737 Hickory Road for $1,000.

They will also discuss the 12-month contract for a new city manager.
The work session begins at 6:30 with the regular meeting at 7 p.m.
