Biking Officers Coming to Subdivisions

In the department reports at the City Council work session on Monday, the HSPD announced a new way they will be patrolling neighborhoods.

Two bikes given will soon help officers patrol Harmony on the Lakes and Crestmont subdivisions to cut back on petty crimes, said Police Chief Ken Ball.

But it's the style of patrolling is slightly different than what you're used to.

"Cops in Spandex don’t do much for me," Ball said.
