Autumn Festival Comes to Holly Springs on Saturday

Barrett Memorial Park will be the site of the ninth annual festival, bringing crafts, local businesses, concessions and a children's area to the 13-acre park.

The 9th annual Autumn Festival will be held in Barrett Memorial Park on Saturday as Holly Springs celebrates the fall season.

"Autumn Fest is an opportunity for the City to provide a taste of fall and family fun for the local community.  Local crafters and businesses come together to showcase their talents.  The event is free for all attendees.  We have entertainment, crafters, concessionaires and a children’s area.  The children’s area features inflatables, games, crafts and prizes," said Jennifer Stanley, the city's events coordinator.

To make more room at the park, vendors will be parking at Holly Springs Elementary School.

Are you annoyed when you visit a festival late in the day and it seems half the booths are empty? That won't be a worry at the Autumn Festival, as vendors must keep their booths set up until 5 p.m., and aren't even allowed to begin break down until 5:15 p.m.
