Woman Missing From Holly Springs

Starla Holloway Triplett, 25, went missing Monday evening after an argument with her boyfriend.

Several law enforcement agencies are asking the public help them find a missing Holly Springs woman. 

Starla Holloway Triplett, 25, has not been seen since around 9:30 p.m. Monday, according to a press release from the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the entrance of the Taylor Farms subdivision in Holly Springs and met Triplett's boyfriend, who told deputies she cut her wrist and fled on foot into the nearby woods after they got into an argument.

Deputies have used K-9s to search the area, along with a helicopter from the Georgia State Patrol. The agency has also been aided in their efforts by Cherokee Fire and Emergency Services, Cherokee County Search and Rescue, the Holly Springs Police Department and GSP Aviation.

Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman with the sheriff's office, said Triplett's wounds don't appear to be life threatening due to the "minimal" amount of blood located at the scene. Also, the missing woman has active misdemeanor warrants out for her arrest for failure to appear.  

If anyone has any information about Triplett’s location, they are asked to call 911.
