According to a press release from the Cherokee Fire and Emergency Services, a yellow Ford truck and a gold Jeep crashed on Hickory Road around 8:45 p.m. Both lanes of Hickory Road were closed for a short period of time.

A 17-year-old girl was driving the Jeep. She was taken to Kennestone Hospital as well.
Another vehicle, a Ford van, also had minor damage caused by the wreck. An 11-year-old girl in that vehicle was taken to Northside Cherokee for evaluation.
