Sheriff's Office Looking for Acworth Woman Last Seen in Cherokee
Joan McDowell, 84, of Acworth, was last seen leaving her doctor's office on Stone Bridge Parkway in Woodstock at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate an elderly woman last seen in Cherokee County Tuesday morning.
According to a Sheriff's Office press release, Joan McDowell, 84, left her doctor's office on Stone Bridge Parkway in Woodstock at 9 a.m. and has not been seen since.
McDowell, from Acworth, was last seen driving her 2008 model Lincoln Town Car, with Georgia license plate PNF4402. McDowell is 5-foot-4, and weighs approximately 130 lbs. with short gray hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and jeans.
