Man Found in Connection to Missing Mother and Child

Cobb County police have located a man they originally thought was Christian Turner.

Scott Alan McDaniel, 42, was arrested as he was walking out of the woods in Carrollton, according to a press release from the Cobb County police.

McDaniel was falsely identified to authorities as Christian Turner.

He has been charged kidnapping and cruelty to children. He is being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
