HSPD to Be Featured on TV Show
Recording artist Mark Wills chose Holly Springs police officer to be his job for the Great American Country series "Day Jobs."
If you could have any day job, what would it be? For one country singer, it's nothing other than training with Holly Springs' own boys in blue.
Mark Wills, a recording artist from Blue Ridge, chose police officer to be his profession for an episode of "Day Jobs" on Great American Country.
A film crew came from the station last week to shoot the episode. Wills was put through police training in firearms and defensive tactics, as well as going out on a ride along with some officers, said Lt. Tanya Smith with the

"It was a very exciting day for us and we could not be more proud of Wills choosing our department for his 'day job,'" Smith said.
The episode will air on Great American Country May 16 at 10 p.m.
