Holly Springs Police Participate in National Night Out

The free event is designed to bring law enforcement and the community closer together with the common goal of fighting crime.

The Holly Springs Police Department will be in Woodstock's Park at City Center to foster stronger relationships between law enforcement, civilians, and the business community during National Night Out on Aug. 6.

This is the 30th anniversary for National Night Out, which brings police officers and community members together so that they can work together to fight local crime.

Features of Woodstock's National Night Out event, which will run from 6 to 9 p.m., include meeting Cherokee County's police and fire officers, seeing police and fire vehicles up-close, a DJ, and two helicopters. There will also be a bounce house for youngsters.

National Night Out is free to attend.

For additional information on the event, please contact Officer Ryan Bleisath at (770) 592-6000 ext: 1172 or rbleisath@woodstockga.gov.
