Buckle up everyone, βClick it or Ticketβ is beginning again. The two-week enforcement of safety belt use began Sunday and will end on Nov. 27, according to a Georgia State Patrol press release.
will be concentrating on seat belt and child restraint violations during patrols, according to the release.
Georgia law requires that adults 18-years-old and older must wear safety belts while driving or riding in the front seat of passenger vehicles and pickup trucks. Children ages 8 through 17 must be restrained by a safety belt at all times, and children under age 8 must be restrained in a child safety seat or booster seat in the rear seat of vehicles.
