Auto Shop Employee Wanted for Theft

Woodstock police are asking help in locating customers after one auto shop employee was accused of taking money.

Woodstock Investigators secured a warrant for Justin Johnson, 35, of Marietta, after finding evidence that he was stealing cash from his place of employment.

Johnson is charged with felony theft by taking, officials said.

Johnson worked at All Fleet and Automotive Service located at 9880 Main Street No. 106 in Woodstock, according to Woodstock Police Department Officials, and had been taking cash for works rendered at the service. He would then delete the repair ticket from the computer system and pocket the cash, officials said.

Owners of All Fleet and Automotive Service noticed that their cash payments had decreased in past months, but only realized the problem when a customer came back in with a claim on a prior repair.

Right now, investigators have discovered $1,400 stolen from the company, however they are sure it is more, officials said.
