4 Arrested, 12 Pounds of Marijuana Seized in Bust

Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad uncovered three indoor marijuana-growing operations along with 106 marijuana plants and 12 pounds of marijuana.

Two of the indoor Marijuana growing operations were  in homes on Ernie Road in Cherokee County. The other was in Hall County. This investigation remains ongoing and more arrests are likely. 

Yesterday, after a tip from the public, deputies arrested Ollie Marchbanks, 32, of Snellville, Noah Sanders, 36, Dawsonville, Graig Medon, 33, of Gainesville, and Madeline Stoddard, 25, of Gainesville on drug-related charges, according to a Cherokee County Sheriff's Office press release. 

CMANS agents, with the GBI Regional Drug Office in Canton, GBI West Metro Task Force, North East Georgia Major Offenders Task Force, Hall County MANS Unit, Atlanta Police Narcotics Unit, Dawson County Sheriff's Office, Cherokee Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit and narcotics agents from Dawson, Hall, and Gwinnett Counties, executed search and arrest warrants in each of the counties listed above.

Marchbanks is charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana and is currently out of jail on an $11,200 bond. Sanders was charged with two counts of conspiracy to distribute marijuana and remains in custody at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with a $22,400 bond. Medon was charged with manufacturing marijuana and was released under an $11,200 bond. Stoddard was charged with felony possession of marijuana and has been released on an $11,200 bond.
