Byron Dangar, 57, of Canton, died Sept. 11 at home.
He was a retired environmental engineer with Law Engineering and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sept. 14 at Oakdale Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, and 8 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Dangar and brother, Jim Dangar. Survivors include his wife, Pam Dangar, Canton; son, Matthew Dangar, Canton; daughters, Hannah and Rebekah Dangar, Canton; mother, Evelyn Dangar, Canton; brother, Greg Dangar, Woodstock; sister, Linda Porter, Canton; mother-in-law, Betty McIntyre, Canton; several nieces and nephews.
