Holly Springs, Hickory Flat Fellowship Schedule Easter Egg Hunts

The city of Holly Springs will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, and Hickory Flat Fellowship's event will be on Friday, April 18.

The city of Holly Springs and a church in Hickory Flat will soon hold their Easter Egg Hunts for local children.

The city of Holly Springs will hold its 13th annual Easter Egg Hunt at Barrett Park. The hunt will start at 11 a.m. sharp on Saturday, April 12. However, residents are encouraged to arrive early so their children can have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny. Each family will receive one complimentary photo.

The city plans to have over 12,000 eggs hidden for children, who will be divided up into groups ranging from infancy to 12 years old.

Every child is slated to receive a prize. In the event of inclement weather, the Egg Hunt will be rescheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Arpil 19. For more information contact Erin Honea at (770) 345-5536, ehonea@hollyspringsga.us or
visit the city's website.

If Holly Springs' event won't work for you and your family, Hickory Flat Fellowship Church will hold its annual Easter celebration on Friday, April 18. The event will start at 7 p.m. in the blue building behind its church at 5301 Hickory Flat Highway.

The free-family friendly event will include food, a magic show and photos with the Easter Bunny. The church will top off its event with its in-the-dark Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt.

Participants will use their own flashlights to find hidden eggs, and hunters will be divided up according to their age groups, with a special section for toddlers. For more information, call the church at (770) 704-5050
