Each Thursday in December, Patch is highlighting a local GoFundMe campaign in the area.

Today's focus is "Elite Jaguars Track Club Donations Page." Excerpts from the fund-raising page:

"About a year ago I started a track and field club by the name of Elite Jaguars Track Club. Elite Jaguars Track Club is located in Cherokee County, Georgia and assists high school and middle school athletes be proficient in the sport of track and field. Our program is also geared toward assisting our athletes with college scholarship opportunities. We started with 4 athletes and are now up to 16.

"This requires funding, and so we are asking for your donation to assist these athletes with their travel expenses so that they can work towards their dreams of getting to the next level of Track and Field."
