Week Starts With Warm Up, But Ends Colder

The National Weather Service forecast says Tuesday will be warmest with a high of 68.

While Holly Springs will experience a brief warm up at the beginning of the week, residents should expect to see seasonably cool temperatures as the week comes to a close, according to the National Weather Service.Β 

Today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 56. Motorists on early Tuesday morning may have to contend with fog, which is expected to start around 1 a.m.

The day will be mostly cloudy and considerably warmer as the temperature is expected to be around 68 degrees.

However, things will get dicey on Wednesday as showers and thunderstorms are expected to hit the city. The high will be 64 during the day.Β 

The lows during the first half of the week will range from the mid 40s to the mid 50s until Wednesday night when the low is expected to be around 36 degrees.Β

However on Thursday, the sun will return and the cooler weather arrives, with a high only reaching 48 and a low below freezing at 29 degrees.

Friday will be slightly cooler with a high of 44 and a low of 27. Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high around 50 degrees.
