Trick-or-Treating Details on Patch

Today will be stormy with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. with a high near 80 degrees. Tonight holds a chance of thunderstorms before 8 p.m. and then again throughout the night with a low around 53 degrees. There is a 60 percent chance of rain for tonight.  

Elementary schools are serving nachos or burrito, seasoned corn, lettuce, tomato, fresh fruit, chilled peaches and cinnamon roll. Middle and high schools are serving mandarin chicken veggie stir fry, steamed rice and a mini veggie egg roll.

Since Halloween falls on a Monday, several people have emailed us about the date when everyone will be out. and officials said they did not have an official say, but assumed it would be celebrated on Oct. 31. to see when your neighbors are planning on heading out.
