The Week Ahead

1. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 30 percent chance of rain and snow in the beginning of the week.

2. Prom season is among us. We'll be covering everything from boutineers and dresses and how to save money for the big night.

3. If you're interested in being on our Mom's Council, let us know. We're making Patch a place where on-the-go moms can come for help, advice, and stress relief. 

4. Don't forget Valentine's Day is coming soon. You can leave a love note on our announcments page to let someone know you care. Don't worry guys, I'll keep reminding you.

5. Nominate your favorite whiz kid by emailing a nomination to jessie.gable@patch.com. We have unlimited bragging space, so there's no need to hesitate if you know of a child who goes above and beyond.
