Kidnapping in Cherokee, Charter School Protest

These are the five things you need to know today.

1. According to the National Weather Service, today will be rainy with a high around 65 degrees and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms.

2. Elementary schools are serving pizza or a lasagna roll up, garlic toast, garden peas, salad and fresh fruit. Middle schools are serving barbecue pork and toast, baked beans, coleslaw and okra. High school menus are dependent on the cafeteria manager.

3. Sheriff's deputies are asking for your help in who was reportedly kidnapped near the Cherokee-Pickens county line. She called 911 from the back of a gold car after a white male forced her inside.Β

4. Has the Cherokee Charter Academy been crushed? On Monday a supreme court ruling said the commission was unconstitutional. Today, angry parents are of the Capitol building to protest.
