Happy Good Friday and Earth Day
Easter is in two days, Earth Day today, and several more events are coming up in Holly Springs. Here are the top five things you need to know today.
1. According to the National Weather Service, today will be rainy with a high around 75 degrees and a 60 percent chance of storms.
2. Elementary schools are serving a cheese-stuffed breadstick with marinara or a chicken tender wrap with French fries, lettuce, tomato, broccoli and dip, fresh fruit and applesauce. Middle schools are serving baked fiesta stick with refried beans, corn, lettuce and tomato. High schools are serving baked chicken tenders, green beans, macaroni and cheese and salad.
3. Yesterday we featured some who brought home the state title and who rode in a local horse show.

4. The is tomorrow at 11 a.m. They will have egg hunts, a petting zoo and playground activities.
5. First Baptist Church of Woodstock is holding the event tonight. This telecast is taking place in churches all over the South, so stop by from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. for a Good Friday service.
