Rabid Bat Found in Forsyth County Backyard - Cumming Patch

A rabid bat was discovered recently in the backyard of an east Forsyth County home located on Riverhaven Drive, according to the ο»ΏForsyth County Health Department .

A father and son vacationing out of state asked Oconee County Sheriff's deputies early Tuesday to check on their Briar Lakes Court home after friends told them someone had been seen inside of the house and driving their vehicles.

A man inside the house reportedly told deputies he had been given permission to drive the car and was returning the keys. Not so, said the victim, who claimed the two were "ex-friends." Steven Ross Brannon was charged with burglary and auto theft. Additionally, he was charged with forgery in the first degree in connection with a separate alleged incident at Oconee State Bank on Monroe Highway Monday afternoon. .

Dunwoody Police Release Updated Photos of Marshall's Robbery Suspect - Dunwoody Patch

Police have released new photos of a suspect wanted in connection with a February armed robbery of a local department store.

Dunwoody police say the man robbed the Marshalls store at 1131 Hammond Drive at about 10 pm on Feb. 1. .
