DRMS Elects School Council Members, Avery Learns About Democracy

fourth-graders learned about the democratic process through a presentation by State Rep. Calvin Hill (R-Hickory Flat) earlier this week. The presentation was part of the PTA “Legislators in Our Schools” initiative.

The Cherokee County Office of Elections brought voting machines for students to vote for their Student Council Officers for 2011-12 on Thursday.
