Dragon Tattoos, Black Fingernails

I've been listening to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on audiobook the past few days, and it's bringing out my tiny bad-girl streak.

Sometimes, I paint my nails black at night. Then I take it off before I actually go anywhere. Or during boot season, I paint my toes black. My mom would never let me paint my nails any color but pink (red for Christmas), so maybe that's it. 

Other times, I draw little tattoos in places nobody would ever see in nonpermanent pen. 

I said it was a little-bitty bad streak. I don't have any real tattoos, and I was 13 before I got my ears pierced. Some of us are just born good girls.

Still, I was watching E! News last night, and they started talking about how everyone is bringing out their little bad streak after reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It just makes her sound so cool, so dark and a little bit crazy. 

I'm just glad I'm not alone. me far more than movies. My parents should be glad I just watched TV when I was a teenager and didn't read a single book. I might have gotten into vampires and witchcraft if I had read books.
