Bank Opens with Wine and Sweepstakes
The newest Suntrust bank on East Cherokee Drive on opened with a wine tasting on Tuesday.
The bank lobby was packed Tuesday afternoon as Chamber of Commerce members, bank administrators and community members gathered for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Hickory Flat branch of Suntrust.
Cindy Stephens, a Suntrust customer who won $1,000 in the sweepstakes for the bank opening, said she was "very blessed" had entered sweepstakes many times and never won.
