American Chocolate Week

Here are the five things you need to know on March 22.

1. According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high around 80 degrees. Pollen.com predicts that the pollen count will be 11.1 out of a possible 12 today, with 12 being the highest.

2. Elementary schools are serving baked popcorn chicken or teriyaki nuggets with rolls, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, garden peas and fruit. Middle and high schools are serving barbecue pork and Texas toast, baked beans, breaded okra and coleslaw.

3. The Holly Springs City Council set a special election for Nov. 8 to replace the Post 3 vacancy.
