This happens all the time. When we start to notice that something is not right, we search to find the reason for it so we can fix it. Often, though, the problem is not just one thing but many things so the fix is not as easy as turning a switch.
Is there a problem with gun violence in the U.S.? I don't think there is a soul out there who says "no" to that question. But, what should be done about it? When the words "gun control" are uttered, some envision the a forcible confiscation of all civilian firearms obliterating the constitutional right to bear arms. But that's not what it means, is it? I think we SHOULD be allowed to carry if we're following the rules. The right person with a gun can stop the wrong person from hurting innocents.
It just needs to be harder for the wrong people to get them.
