Tiger Tech Team on the Prowl for State Recognition

Eight students from Cherokee Charter Academy are headed to state competition this Saturday (March 8th) at the Georgia Educational Technology Fair in Macon.  They are:

Ben Adams (Digital Game Design & Hardware)

Isabel Bambrook (Digital Photography)

Mary Elizabeth Cory (3D Modeling)

Christian Deneka (Digital Photography)

Diego Gordinho (Digital Game Design)

Alex Harkness (Digital Video Production)

Mariah Johnson (Non-animated Graphic Design & Digital Photography)

All eight scored first place victories in the 5th annual Piedmont Technology Fair in Cherokee County, where more than 150 students from area counties competed. CCA also scored eight second place finishes and five third place finishes at the Piedmont Technology Fair. 

The second place finishers were Shira Wildschut (3D Modeling), Grace Pfohl (3D Modeling), Mary Elizabeth Cory (Technology Literacy Test),  Selina Nie (Mobile Apps),  John Houk (Digital Video Production), Evan Mortazie (Digital Video Production), Tommy Pittman (Digital Game Design) and Ben Adams (Technology Literacy Test).  

Those scoring 3rd place finishes were Grace Pfohl (Technology Literacy Test), Barbora Kocsis (Digital Game Design), Eli Trepper (Digital Game Design), Mariah Johnson (Technology Literacy Test) and Braxton Willis (3D Modeling).
